How to look good bald

Bald removes one variable, so everything else counts more: your jaw, your frames, your collar, how well things fit. None of this needs money — it needs attention.

Facial hair

Heavy stubble or a short, well-shaped beard is the highest-return change available. It restores contrast and gives the face a lower frame. Keep the neckline defined and the cheek line natural rather than carved.

Glasses and frames

A shaved head takes stronger frames than most people expect. Slightly heavier acetate or a distinct metal shape reads as intentional; thin rimless can look sparse.

Eyebrows and grooming

  • Tidy, but don't over-trim — brows are now a main feature.
  • Keep ears and neck clean; they're more visible than they were.
  • Matte over shiny for scalp products.

Clothing

  • Fit beats brand. A shoulder seam that lands correctly does more than any logo.
  • Crew necks, henleys and collars all work; very high necklines can shorten the head visually.
  • Texture — knit, denim, leather, flannel — keeps a clean silhouette from looking severe.
  • Colour near the face matters more now: warm neutrals, olive, navy, ivory.

Posture and the rest of it

Almost every 'bald glow-up' story is really about training, sleep, skin and standing up straight. The head is the excuse; the rest is the change.
